“She Believed” Poem
I knew that I believed in myself, when I stopped letting others define me and I decided to define myself and accept who I Am.
I knew that I believed in myself, when I started celebrating my beautiful and radiant Light and allowing myself to SHINE as Bright as I can both day and night.
I knew that I believed in myself, when I stopped letting my circumstances steal all my peace and joy and I Showed Up for myself with love, kindness and grace all the more.
I knew that I believed in myself, when I see and use Social Media as a tool and I don’t allow Social Media to devalue me or define me with Likes, Follows, Unfollows and Views.
I knew that I believed in myself, when I stopped feeling like I have to prove that I am one of the greats and I choose to stand in all of my glory and greatness EVERYDAY.

I knew that I believed in myself when I stopped being afraid of what people might think of me. I knew that I believed in myself when I stopped comparing myself to others and finding myself lacking or feeling “less than”. I knew that I believed in myself when I stopped caring about my social media presence. I knew that I believed in myself when I started speaking to leaders and authorities in my life respectfully, boldly, and openly without feeling afraid, unworthy, or as if I were or would be in trouble. I knew that I believed in myself when I began to freely ask for and freely receive help from others. I knew that I believed in myself when I refused to remain silent.

I knew i believed in myself when I was willing to bet on myself, take the leap, and mount my platform even if I had to do it alone. I knew I believed in myself when I started measuring success in sleep quality, laughter, fun, meaningful connections & peace and not in titles, degrees & salary. I knew I believed in myself when my language changed from should, would & could to doing, did & done.
