Choosing to Love

When Love Leads

“There is enough in me, enough in the room, and enough in the moment.
When love leads, there is always enough.”

I want to share a story about some incredible women—women who came together, some meeting each other for the very first time. These women showed up fully for themselves, and they brought so much love into that room during Women’s History Month.

The night of my Babe Cave: The Embodied Woman Experience at The Salt Cave in St. John Indiana became a night to remember.

What started off as a glitch in my attendance roster where I was only supposed to have 12 women attending, including myself, ended with 14 women in attendance and a night I will never forget.

I didn’t have enough chairs.
I didn’t have enough cards.
I didn’t have enough gift bags.
I didn’t have enough white socks.

And yet… somehow, there was still enough.

Enough women willing to make room.
Enough love to cover what was missing.
Enough support to hold a woman who needed peace.
Enough grace to shift the energy in the room.
Enough trust to let the moment lead.

What I witnessed that night was true sisterhood—women supporting women.

The peaceful and powerful Word of the Night, spoken over all of the beautiful women there because of this glitch, was:

You are fully supported.
You are advocated for even when you cannot advocate for yourself.
Others are always advocating on your behalf.

This word was originally spoken over a beautiful lady in attendance who didn’t have a card I had pre-written because of the glitch in my roster.

But it wasn’t meant for her to have a card.  She was the missing piece that night and I am so grateful that she was there.

It was meant for this word to be spoken out loud over her—and over every woman in that room.

We all needed to hear it.

This is what it means to embody peace: trusting in our peace, knowing that we are fully supported, fully advocated for, and that someone is always advocating on our behalf.

To every woman who said yes to herself and filled that room with love, I THANK YOU. Truly, thank you for showing up, being open, and graceful, and reminding me what it truly looks like when women support women.

I hope you feel empowered and softened by my story, knowing that you are seen and heard—and that when love leads, there is always enough.

Sending you so much love,

Love Charmaine Moore
