Happy Women’s History Month and Happy International Women’s Day!
Today, I wanted to share something very special with you a spoken word piece and personal letter I wrote to myself last year titled “New Version of Me.”
This piece was written during a time of deep reflection and transformation in my life. It is a reminder that in life we grow, adapt, and evolve into many different versions of ourselves. Along the way, it can sometimes feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable to fully accept who we are becoming.
But I truly believe that self-acceptance is where our real self-love journey begins.
Becoming a new version of yourself requires courage, awareness, and the willingness to release who you used to be so that you can embrace who you are becoming.
My hope is that these words speak to your heart, encourage your spirit, and remind you that the next version of you is worth embracing fully and unapologetically.
